With current weak economy and looming recession, buying cheap, efficient cars is highly desirable. Nissa Versa is said to be the cheapest car in the U.S, $9,990.

What do you get for $9,900 rock-bottom retail price? Well, four wheels, four doors and six airbags.

There is no air-conditioning. If you want to add A/C, be ready to fork out $1,000.

There is also no radio although Nissan provides the speakers and the wiring. This means you need an aftermarket setup of radio.

I guess if you want a cheap car, this is what you get. I wonder if any man will buy this Nissan Versa 1.6 as a cheap car gift for her.
