Twitter Or Facebook?

Monday, December 28th, 2009

Two nights ago, I decided to set up a Facebook Basic account for one of my niche blogs. However, right after setting up the account and posting a few notes, I found that it’s better to set up a Facebook Page account.

So, I went on creating a Page account. But after two days of playing with the settings and features, there are still some features that I don’t know how to use.

I am waiting for my buddy who owns a motorhome towing company to come back from his vacation. And then I will ask him about the Facebook features.

You know, I prefer Twitter to Facebook for the time being.

Wanna Get Away Next Christmas!

Monday, December 28th, 2009

After this year’s Christmas shopping craze and endless feasts with friends and colleagues, I declared to hubby that I would get away next Christmas.

My blogging pal who enjoyed her Christmas with her family in the mountains this Xmas was glad that she chose to get away. She planned to do the same next year.

During her stay in the mountains, I got to chat with her online. It was a brief chat as she was trying to check some car insurance quotes for her hubby.

Wow, Get Away From Christmas Shopping & Preparation Craze!

Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009

So tired after a few days’ gift wrapping and grocery stocking up! Enough for me.

If there is anything that I leave out, then forget it. I don’t want to be pushed and shoved by the heavy crowd in the store or mall just to buy a shrink tube kit.

My blogging pal is so scared of the Christmas preparation that she and her family are having a retreat in the mountains to have total peace from the Christmas shopping and preparation craze this year.

Looking For The Cheapest Toronto Hotels For Year 2010

Friday, December 18th, 2009

Yesterday, I went to hubby’s office to help him. I was impressed when I saw hubby’s female colleagues looking for the cheapest Toronto hotels for their next trip in year 2010 yesterday.

Why was I impressed? Well, they just came back from their recent trip to Australia! Don’t you think it’s a bit early to look for another trip while you just came back from your year end trip?

In a way, this shows that they are not affected by the economy downturn and job loss fear. Many people are not as lucky as they are, you know. There are people who are struggling in this Christmas season.

So, HAVC Filters Or Air-Cond Filters?

Wednesday, December 9th, 2009

If my budget allowed, I would like every old and broken item, decor or appliance in the house to be gotten rid of or replaced with new ones.

Of course, it’s impossible to replace every old thing in the house with new ones. It’s either to replace This or That, not Both or All.

So, it’s either to change the HAVC filters or air-cond filters prior to Christmas.

Speaking of Christmas, it’s kind of sad not to be able to spend as much money on Christmas gifts as last year. :-(
