What a coincidence! While sharing some low cost health insurance info with a friend at her home last night, I was surprised that she used the same baby’s quiet sounds handheld video monitor.
Upon checking with her the price of the baby handheld video monitor when she bought it, well, the same price and discount rate as I bought it in 2008!

Hubby was supposed to meet some mortgage lenders this morning, but decided to cancel the appointments. The reason was that he had to pay his buddy a visit at the hospital. His buddy gave birth to a baby boy last night.
Time to search for a baby gift for hubby’s buddy. I gave this BabyBjörn Baby Carrier as a baby’s shower gift to my sister and she loves it. It does save her hands and her back.
She can carry her baby everywhere with her and still be able to do chores. My niece is a colicky baby so my sister cannot leave her on the swing for long time.
It’s so simple to use and very well-designed for the safety of the child. My niece especially likes it when she can face out and see the world. And the soothing rocking motion she gets when riding in this often puts her to sleep.

I bought this baby gift for my baby niece after searching for some hotel deals a few weeks ago.
This Cloud b Twilight Turtle – Constellation Night Light works as expected. Nice stars showing up in a dark room. My baby niece is intrigued by it, she looks at it and points at the stars.
It does a great job of giving off just enough light when using the blue or green colors. The amber color is a little hard to see unless the room is very dark.
The more centrally located in the room, the easier it is to see all the constellations. It’s wonderful that it shuts itself off after 45 mintues.

I had seen these Cloud b Twilight Turtle – Constellation Night Lights in a magazine and thought they were creative and unique.
I bought one for myself and another one as baby gift for my niece who has problem sleeping in a dark room.
My niece loves her turtle so much. The colors and the stars really spark her imagination and she refuses to go to sleep without it and even sings an unrecognizable little song to the turtle every night, it’s soooo cute.
I’m going to give this Cloud b Twilight Turtle – Constellation Night Light as gift over and over again to every child’s’ birthday party I go to, it’s a huge hit.

I spent 2 to 3 hours reading reviews of baby monitors on Amazon before I bought this Summer Infant Baby’s Quiet Sounds Color Handheld Video Monitor ($179.00).
A video monitor is the only way to go. After reading a few reviews, this Summer Infant Baby’s Quiet Sounds Color Handheld Video Monitor had the best reviews, no doubt about it.
The video allows you to check without running up the stairs or getting out of bed. Also, if our baby wakes up and gets a little fussy, but is likely to go back to sleep on her own, I can check on her without going into the room.
The sound on this handheld video monitor is incredible.The picture is not high definition, but it is plenty serviceable and much better than what I have read of reviews of other similar products.
I would highly recommend this Summer Infant Baby’s Quiet Sounds Color Handheld Video Monitor to Jennifer Lopez who recently gave birth to two beautiful twins.
