Yesterday, I thought of buying a pair of Jessica Simpson boots at a local boutique.

But then, I changed my mind. I bought this pair of Nine West Women’s Roussy Sandals instead.

The sandals are very pretty and go with pretty much everything I wear.

They are high enough to be sexy but also comfortable to wear for more than 8 hours.

Do you still remember what you bought on Cyber Monday? Of course, I do. Shoes.

Well, to be exact, boots.

I think it’s time to dig through the pile of shoes in my closet and find a few pairs of cowboy boots I never wear. What for?

Donate them. The American Paint Horse Foundation is asking for new or gently worn boots for young riders.

APHF, a nonprofit organization, has joined with Camp Carter YMCA, a popular retreat in Fort Worth, Texas, that teaches thousands of children each year each how to ride and educates them on equestrian-related topics.

The camp needs the boots to properly gear up the students who are learning to ride.

If you have boots accumulating dust, well, donate them for a good cause.

You can drop off the boots at the World Championship Paint Horse Show at Will Rogers Equestrian Center on 401 W. Lancaster Avenue June 24 – July 4 or anytime at APHA headquarters on 2800 Meacham Blvd.

What a waste of my time! I had to wait for 20 minutes for the store’s malfunctioned receipt printer to be functioning again.

This is not the first time it happened. I really don’t understand why the owner of the store doesn’t want to get a new one.

If it hadn’t been this pair of pump shoes that came with deep discount, I would have done my shoe shopping at another boutique.

I currently own about a dozen pair of boots in a variety of colors, brands and styles. When buying boots, you should always look for quality and comfort. They must breathe well.

Boots are a nice addition to your winter wardrobe. They look great with jeans.
