Oh, no! I think I have to turn off my computer in a few minutes. It’s raining very heavily now.

Although there is no lightning or thunder at the moment, who knows if it will strike suddenly? It did happen once and about two months ago. It was raining heavily and there was no lightning or thunder, so I thought it should be fine for me to go on staying online.

Suddenly, a loud booming thunder came without any warning and there went my modem. According to my IT buddy, my computers installed with new memory cards would have been damaged if the thunder had been a very loud one.
