Hot mama Britney Spears was involved in a minor road accident on the Ventura Freeway in Los Angeles last week. Again? Who let her drive again?

The 26-year-old was driving her Mercedes through slow-moving traffic when she struck a Nissan which had stopped in front of her. The Nissan bumped into another vehicle but there was no damage, not even a scratch on the led tail lights. And nobody in any of the cars was injured.

All three cars were pulled over by police at a nearby gas station, where the authorities tested to see if Spears had been drinking.

Britney Spears had been charged with a hit and run offense before. She escaped the charge after paying an undisclosed amount of money to the owner of a vehicle into which she allegedly crashed in a car park.

And later in 2006 Spears admitted making a “mistake” after being photographed driving with one of her sons on her lap, rather than strapped into a baby’s car seat.

George Clooney has denied that he will be the godfather to his pal Brad Pitt’s fifth child with Angelina Jolie.

The ‘Michael Clayton‘ star was only joking to paparazzi outside a Los Angeles restaurant that he had been asked by the Hollywood couple to take on the role.

He has also laughed off reports he has been named godfather actress Nicole Kidman and husband Keith Urban’s unborn offspring.
